The Bay D'Espoir Local Cancer Benefit Group is a registered, non profit organization located on the South Coast of Newfoundland. The organization was formed when In 1999, when friends and family of Roger John held a concert in his honor. Roger, resident of Conne River, NL, had fought a lengthy battle with cancer and unfortunately, lost his battle a year earlier.
During this event, music was supplied by local entertainers and lasted for 13 hours. This benefit concert was so successful and the friends and family had enjoyed it so much, they decided to try and make this concert an annual event.
This years route will vary from the route posted below. We will not be visiting Medonnegonix Lodge, instead we will be stopping at Heart Hill Lodge.
We will be having a meal upon our return to Heart Hill Lodge. At the lodge you can relax, enjoy the great
outdoors, and try some ice fishing.
